Winter Illumination in Nabana no Sato 

The annual illuminations are one of the most anticipated events in Japan signalling the coming of winter and the Christmas and New Year season.

The light festivals are simultaneously held in various cities across Japan and Nabana no Sato’s winter illumination in Nagashima Resort is hailed as one of the biggest and brightest in the Nagoya area.

The Nabana no Sato is particularly famous for its spectacular Tunnel of Lights and the themed light show.

How to get there

  1. Take the train until Kintetsunagashima station.
  2. Exit the train platform going to the bus station or bus stop just outside the train station.
  3. Wait for the Non-Stop Bus going to Nabana no Sato. The Bus schedule is published in this website: http://www.nagashima-onsen.co.jp/page.jsp?id=8556
  4. Bus ride takes about 10-15 mins and costs 220 Yen (one way).

Park Entrance

During illumination, entrance to the park costs 2,300 Yen. This ticket includes a 1,000 Yen-worth of coupon that can be spent inside the park, either for purchasing souvenir items in any of the shops or meals in any of the restaurants.
